I have been a freelance food and travel writer since moving to Canada in 2001. I currently contribute to Brazilian publications such as Vogue, Gula, Playboy, Viagem e Turismo and Expressions (American Express magazine). I also have a travel column online, on the web portal of luxury magazine Wish Report. Click here to read. In Canada I write for Air Canada's inflight En Route, the wine magazine Tidings, and Azure. I also write for Lanchile's inflight In, Four Seasons (of the luxury hotel chain), 360 (by American Express Custom Publishing) and the
South China Morning Post.

Between 2001 and 2007 I had a weekly food column in The Sherbrooke Record, Quebec's second largest English-language daily.

Before moving to Canada I was senior editor at VIP, which is part of Editora Abril, Latin America's largest magazine publisher (they also publish Playboy, Elle, Cosmopolitan, National Geographic and several other titles).

I was responsible for defining and editing all the contents of two of the magazine`s sections – one about the city of São Paulo and the other, called The Good Life, which focused on wine, food, cigars and cars. I was the magazine's restaurant critic, and also coordinated and edited travel guides, with the help of several freelance writers, photographers and illustrators who all worked under my direction.
